I have six fingers in my left leg Is it is possible for me to clear my medical exam conducted by airforce...
Hello,
Having six fingers on your left leg, also known as polydactyly, may not necessarily be a automatic disqualification for the Air Force medical exam.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has specific medical standards for candidates, and polydactyly is not explicitly mentioned as a disqualifying condition. However, the IAF does consider various factors, including:
1. The presence of any significant physical deformity or disability.
2. The ability to perform daily tasks and duties without any limitations.
3. The potential risk of complications or future health issues.
To clear the medical exam, you'll need to undergo a thorough evaluation by the IAF's medical board. They'll assess your overall health, including your polydactyly, to determine your fitness for service.
To increase your chances of clearance:
1. Ensure you have no other significant medical conditions.
2. Demonstrate good overall health and physical fitness.
3. Prepare documentation from your doctor or orthopedic specialist explaining your condition and its impact (if any) on your daily life and ability to perform duties.
Hope this helps,
Thank you
According to the rules and guidelines of IAF a person with any kind of deformity is not eligible for airforce. There is no such rule mentioned specifically that a person with six fingers are not allowed but it comes to the medical examination of the candidate they ensure that the person is mentally and physically fit, this as six fingers is one of the deformity either it is with hand or leg he or she will not be able to clear the medical examination but they are some exceptions wheather it is amputated but the panel cannot assure it fully
