It's necessary that both the passport and postcard size photos have dates on it as the date should not be later that 1st sep 2019. But don't worry you will get to change it in the correction window if your photo doesn't meet the requirement. Do correct it if you be notified by NTA through the valid email id or phone number given by you.

Name and date are not compulsory you just have to upload your photo with 100-200 kb and it should be clear.
