Hey aspirant, If you want to peruse your carrer in journalism then there is no need to do B.A in english you can straightway apply for the entrance test of B.A in journalism and mass communication(BJMC). If you want to command over the profession then I would recommend you to kindly give the entrance examination of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University as it is well known for Its BJMC.

Hope this helps

Good luck

So does that mean that if I do B.A in English it would be a complete waste of time right like my 3 years are gonna go on waste. ?

See it's not like if you peruse B.A in English your 3 years are going to get spoiled. It's like if you want to have your career in journalism then why to waste time. Get directly into the bachelor course of journalism and mass communication as after your B.A in English you would require a diploma course in journalism Nd mass communication so it would be a 4 or 5 year studies. If you get directly into BJMC then after 3 year you would be placed in a good firm Good luck
