Children do not need to immediately shift to Karnataka for domicile certificate purpose as the  domicile eligibility in Karnataka for students is based on either parental residence/ domicile or the child's own continuous education in the state for several years.

So if your domicile is of Karnataka, your ward will also be eligible for the same. Or else they will need to complete minimum of 7 years of education in Karnataka then you will need to make them study in Karnataka from 6th to 12th which is 7 years.

No , if parents are working in kerala and their children are studying  there today , they can't make directly karnataka domicile certificate bcz for domicile certificate families should be permanent resident of karnataka,  or there children should study in karnataka for atleast  7 to 10 years .
