if sinhx=3/4,then find sin2hx=?
Hello vindha4444,
Well, you must be asking for sinh(2x) as you have written sin2hx, BTW,
sinh(2x) = 2sinhx.coshx, and sinhx = 3/4 and also we know, sin^2(hx) + 1 = cos^2(hx), so we get coshx = root(1+sin^2(hx))=5/4;
Therefore, sinh(2x)=2x(3/4)x(5/4)=15/8.Answer...
Hope this helps, and feel free to ask any further query...
Hello vindha...
In the question you've asked above I'm not considering hyperbolic sine function because you're asking value of sin2hx so here hx will be treated as the angle.
So as we know sin2a=2sina Cosa
so sin2hx = 2 sinhx. coshx
= 2 × 3/4 ×√7/4=3√7/8 ; cos^2x+sin^2x=1
But if you are asking for hyperbolic functions then
Sinh2x=2sinhx.coshx
=2×3/4×5/4=15/8 ; since cosh^2x- sinh^2x=1
Thanks...
I hope it'll be helpful
