Dear student,
You need to give your roll number, and since in your case two different things are given i.e. roll and number, in such case you need to give your roll. Every student has a unique roll number and that is what us asked for the application form of jee mains.

arobindosuklabaidya Then give the number, because you need to give that number which is unique for each person.
