I'm doing B.A but my main subject is not philosophy can I appear for entrance test of masters in philosophy

Hi,

Admission to MA philosophy is conducted through both entrance exams and also on merit basis. Most of the institute allows graduates of any stream to pursue this course, even engineering, and management. But there are some colleges which permits the students only if they have graduation in philosophy.

So, It depends on which college you are going to do your MA Philosophy.

can you help us entrance exam of which university are you talking about , because admission to MA philosphy can be done by both entrance test and merit basis , it all depends on the college you are wishing to get admission in , every university do have owm eligibility criteria some may want students to have pursued their graduation in field of philosphy while some may allow other stream of students too
