I'm interested in both biotechnology and biochemistry...can i choose both(in b.tech)?
Hello aspirant, I'll like to tell you that you cannot choose both biochemistry and biotechnology in your btech. You can go for btech biotechnology if you are passionate about improving the quality of people's lives through research,.
Biotechnology is a highly interdisciplinary field that combines biological sciences with engineering technologies to manipulate living organisms and biological systems to produce products that advances healthcare, medicine, agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals and environment control. Whereas Biochemistry is the branch of science that explores the chemical processes within and related to living organisms. It is a laboratory based science that brings together biology and chemistry. I'll suggest you to choose the one which is of your interest. Also i'll like to tell you that both these courses are at a developing stage in India. So you must choose your career wisely.
All the best
