    Hello

    Only those who pass JEE Advanced and receive an All India Rank (AIR) are eligible for admission to the IITs (subject to fulfilment of other eligibility criteria). NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, SFIs, and State Engineering Colleges only accept students who have passed JEE Mains (for some States).
