Placement program:

You can apply and intern as many times as you want but the placement office and professors help you in finding an internship during 3rd year which is a mandatory one. Microsoft and Google have Student Partner and Student Embassador programs.

These are the companies that are on campus for CS:

Amazon, ADP, CA, Commvault, Capital IQ, Cisco, Dell, D.E. Shaw, Deloitte, GE, Honeywell, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, Syntel etc. Amazon, Google and D.E. Shaw hire 1 or 2 people. The other companies hire about 56. Almost everyone from my class ended up with multiple job offers. Average pay for Google, MS etc was in the range 10- 12 lpa. It was around 67 for the rest.

The placement and job opportunities are very good in this college as different companies come to this college and take the best candidates from the group in good packages. Companies like Mahindra Tech, Google Infosys, Wipro, InFocus, cozinant,  GVK,MSN, IBM ,MRF ,Icici HDFC, visit every year to select candidates for their companies an an average package of 4-5 lakhs per annum.
