Yes, fortunately the government medical colleges do have 5% quota for wards of defence personne. However, the critera for the same is: For Defence Personnel Wards (DPW) candidates, the reservation will be applicable only for Dependent of Ex- serviceman. Dependent of In service Defence Personnel are not eligible for reservation. For claiming the reservation the certificate issued by the competent authority for this purpose will be valid. Dependent of Ex-serviceman of paramilitary forces are not eligible for DPW reservation.
