There is no pass or fail in IELTS test. A 6.5 band score is considered to be a satisfactory achievement for academic admissions. Candidates scoring a 6.5 band IELTS score can easily get admission to different top universities all over the world. IELTS is scored on a band of 1 to 9, where 1 is the lowest and 9 is the highest. Each band reflects a different level of understanding of the English language of users.
