Hello,

Both plant biotechnology and plant pathology offer promising career paths. Plant biotechnology has broad applications in genetic engineering, crop improvement, and industrial research, providing opportunities in academia, research institutes, and biotech companies. A PhD in this field can lead to advanced research roles.

Plant pathology, on the other hand, is crucial for managing plant diseases and ensuring food security, with career options in agricultural research, government agencies, and agrochemical companies.

If you are passionate about innovation and research, plant biotechnology may be more suitable. However, if you are drawn to applied agricultural science, plant pathology could be the better fit.

Hope it helps you !
