If you have failed to report at the examination centre for the JEE mains examination then you can talk to NTA but chances that they will give you a seat on 12th of april is very low. But you should try atleast once and be sure about the situation. I hope you have got the point.

See u cannot to any kind of amendment after the date has been called out. U have fallen sick that is ur fault and the concerned authority NTA is not responsible for that. Ur application no has been alloted to that day only and paper was also set for u on that particular date. U cannot change the exam date if u have missed the exam due to ur fault.
