notes on man and environment relationship determinism neo -determinism possibilism
Dear aspirant,
Man and Environment Relationship: The relationship between the man and the has been established in the early periods. Human beings live in the kingdom of nature and interact with it regularly. The influence of nature in the form of the air we breathe, the water he drinks, the food he eats, and the flow of energy and information. Any change in the environment can not only result in devastating effects, but can also become a threat to the human race. Every year on 5th June we celebrate World Environment Day to emphasize the importance of green environment in our lives and promote the worldwide awareness of the environment. World Environment Day is also a day for people from all walks of life to come together to ensure a cleaner, greener and brighter outlook for themselves and future generations. World environment day is an opportunity for us to get involved in fulfilling our responsibility of protecting our planet.
Determinism: The doctrine which states that all the actions on Earth is external to the will is called Determinism. Some philosphers also state that due to determinism human beings do not have their own free will and cannot be held morally responsible for their actions.
Neo - Determinism: The renewed approach to determinism is called neo-determinism. It refers human races as a passive agent dictated by environmental factors.
Possibilism : the theory that the environment sets certain constraints or limitations is called possibilism.
Hope this helps.
