Yes,it is compulsory to report at the reporting centre.You can get an upgraded seat in the 2nd round if you choose the float option.

yes, buddy its cumpulsory to report at the centre otherwise your candidature might be in the doubtful case. even if you confirm your seat in the 1st round you are eligible for the 2nd round
