Sir I am studing from CBSE national board is it a big issue for my selection that I Must study from state board
Hello Ritish,
CBSE or Central Board of Secondary Education is a national level board in India. You can find a school affiliated to CBSE in almost all the corners of India. The syllabus that is followed in CBSE schools is so very well designed that it helps a student get a good conceptual knowledge of any topic. CBSE has maintained its standard throughout the country and it is somewhat also considered superior to state boards. The syllabus followed in all the CBSE schools are same. The questions that comes in many national level competitive examinations like JEE are also based on the books that are followed in the CBSE schools. If you're aspiring to take science at 10+2 level and are preparing for national level examination I would suggest you to opt for a CBSE school. CBSE board is also well recognised throughout the country and overseas.
On the other hand the syllabus in State Boards vary from state to state. It includes languages of the local area. People who want to pursue their higher studies in same state generally opt for State Boards. For example if a student is from West Bengal, Bangla is taught at school level, which is very beneficial for him if he wants to continue his further studies in the same state and prepare for examinations like WBPSC, as these exams have a separate paper for that particular language. Statistics also speak that students of CBSE board score more marks in board examination than State Boards.
Overall the things taught in all the boards 90% same and all the State Boards are also equally recognised in India. It depends upon you what you want to do in future. If you want to study science at a national level college, go for CBSE and if you want to pursue your higher studies in the same state, go for State Boards.
Ultimately what matters is your hard work, sincerity and dedication.
All the best
