Ideally, One has a total of two attempts for JEE advanced over two consecutive years starting from the year of appearing for 12th board examination i. e as per , eligibility criteria one is eligible for JEE advanced examination only in the year in which he or she appears for 12th board examination and the next year following it.

So, with 12 th appearing year as 2020

• you were eligible for jee advanced 2020 and

• you are eligible for jee advanced 2021 only.

But for Jee advanced 2022 , it has been recently notified that those who missed Jee advanced 2020/2021 are eligible for jee advanced 2022.This decision has been taken considering the covid pandemic.

Thus, you are eligible for jee advanced 2022

If I tell you about Jee main then,

One can give JEE Mains entrance examination for a maximum of 3 consecutive years starting from the year of passing 12th board examination.

Now, your 12th passing year is 2020

So, you

• were eligible for jee main 2020

• eligible jee main 2021

• are eligible jee main 2022 as well .
