    In josaa choice filling you have to fill mixed choices of nit IIT IIIT etc and you would got your preferred choice

    JOSAA 2017 conducts counselling for both NITs and IITs together
    You have to login and fill choices you may include IITs also in your selection but seat is not guaranteed only on qualifying in advanced so opt to choose as many options as possible
    You can include NITs and IIITs also

    Under the Current JoSAA system, all IITs, NITs and associate colleges like some IIITs(not IIIT H) , RGPI and some other colleges who take admissions from Jee Main and Advance , their preference order has to be selected together. That way no student gets more than one seat in these institutions.

    You can fill all choices(IITs,NITs,IIITs) according to your preferences in josaa counselling.......just login and give IITs as first choice then NITs and at last IIITs....best wishes!
