According to your son's rank, chances are less of admission to AIIMS colleges. If he had appeared and qualified the NEET exam then he can try for admission based on his NEET score.

There are very less chances of getting AIIMS as according to the previous years cut off closing rank was between 2,130 to 6768 for OBC category and minimum 97 percentile.Here is the link which contains previous years closing ranks for all  AIIMS colleges.
