Hello aspirant,
If you have
submitted the JEE Main form and paid Rs. 1000 online
, you should first
check the payment status
:

Confirm transaction:
Check your
bank statement / UPI / online payment history
to see if the payment was successfully deducted.

Check application status:
Log in to the
JEE Main portal
using your application number and password to see if your
form status shows “Payment Complete”
.
Payment failure:
If the amount is deducted but not reflected in the portal, do
not pay again immediately
. Wait for
24–48 hours
as it sometimes takes time for the payment to be updated.
Contact NTA:
If after 48 hours the payment still isn’t updated, contact
NTA helpdesk
at their official number/email for resolution.
Tip:
Always
keep transaction ID and payment receipt
handy while contacting NTA. This helps in quick verification.
