No Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology does not conduct any entrance examination on its own for entry into the BTech courses rather it takes the JEE main scores into the consideration for the admission process. However a separate application form is released on official website after the conclusion of all the phases of examination and candidates are allotted seats based upon their performance, choices.
