Hello,

It is quite hard to predict your actual rank and college you will be getting as these varies every year depending upon various factors like students appearing, difficult of exam etc.

You can use this formula to calculate your rank - [ 100 - Your Percentile ] x [ number of Students Appeared in JEE divided by 100]

For January Session around 935000 students appeared. Let's say you scored 95 percentile, then your rank will be somewhere around 46000-48000.

With this rank you can get some good government and private colleges. Some of the colleges you might have probability of getting are -

  • Some of the NITs [with branch like Civil, Production etc.]
  • IISER
  • Thapar Institute of Technology, Patiala
  • UPES, Dehradun
  • MIT WPU, Pune
  • Amity University, Noida
  • Lovely Professional university, Phagwara
  • Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai

You can use this college predictor to find and predict colleges you will be getting more accurately by clicking at this link -
