Both have their own unique identify, the only difference being the duration of the exam which is 2 hours in case of IPMAT and 3 hours in case of CAT. Moreover in IPMAT there are 100 questions comprising of quantitative ability and verbal ability. In CAT same number of questions are there, only there are 3 sections, Quants, DI/LR and verbal ability. You can say CAT is a little tough as compared to IPMAT
