If the merit list is released then it does not mean that you are allocated a seat in any college.

It just signifies that you registered for the counselling and you will be considered for seat allotment.

If you name comes in the round 1 allotment list then that will mean that you have been allocated a seat. Otherwise not.

For now if merit list is released, I would like to request you to wait for the release of allotment list where you might get alloted a seat in either government medical college or private medical college.
