The AP EAMCET (now AP EAPCET) qualifying marks are set at 25% of the maximum marks, equating to 40 out of 160. However, there are no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates.
Cutoff ranks for specific colleges and courses vary annually based on factors like exam difficulty, seat availability, and applicant performance. For instance, in previous years, the closing ranks for Computer Science Engineering at JNTUK College of Engineering, Kakinada ranged between 17,000 - 18,000 for OC Boys and 74,000 - 75,000 for OC Girls.
