First i will talk about the scope. Due to the covid 19 pandemic people are fearing and instructed to go outside for leisure and recreational activities . Also the air, water and land transport is used only by people of essential category services.

Hence it's directly affected the tourism industry . Till the pandemic ends and  life comes back to normal the travel industry will have a less scope .  But after it resumes it will be a boom.

For opportunities after your Degree you can be a Travel writer, Tour Guide, Travel Agent, Travel Officer , Tourism Manager, Tour operator etc.

This type of industry has an additional benefit of work from home , You can write travel blogs , create content for travel websites, collect and publish images on various websites too.
