Studying 8 to 12 years for medical is a personal choice where some people find it worth it while as some people dont find it that useful in the long run. But honestly it totally depends upon a person. If you are ready to give 8 to 10 years of your life for this field then you are good to go if not then you should think about it. Because being a doctor can have both the sides, good as well as bad. The bad sides or the least liked sides are that you have to work for long hours. You might not get enough time for other things. Also the starting pay is very less but gradually it increases. The positive side is that you are respected. It ensures long term career stability. You are in demand everywhere. Even if you do private practice. If you have good skills and knowledge you are good to go. So, the conclusion is that there are both good and bad sides so it totally depends upon you. Think about it wisely and choose whats best for you.
