The Grignard reagent is highly reactive. There are certain precautions to consider while handling Grignard reagent:
- Must be kept away from water.
- Gloves and Goggles should be used while handling
- Reactions of the Grignard reagent must be carried out in a ventilated place
- Proper disposal
