For others the general rank is considered.

Hello akanksha

Jee mains category rank means ranking of the students which belong to a specific category in their own category community like ST;SC;OBC.

There are separate ranking other than a general rank because these category have quota in government institution and there are a fixed number of seats reserved for these category.
