Qualifying exam based round determine the seat allocation let the college has 200 seats so in all 7 or less rounds students will apply for the colleges till the number of 200 seats might get filled its not necessary that the seats will definitely get filled completely.
Might some of the seats may remain vacant .
And rounds are not only for jee exam it get conducted by every exam board.
