Let's say B has accused A and filed a case which mounts to arresting. But A goes ahead and files a case of Stay in a Higher Court. Now B will file a coveat petition stating no action should be taken on A's plea without first hearing from B because B is the victim here. This is like a precautionary measure that B is taking in fear of malpractise or misappropriation of law or resources or tampering of proof causing injustice.
