    Hello,
    Top 20 percentile criteria is different for different boards.If your marks is under top 20 percentile then this means that your marks is in between the top 20% of the total students appeared in the boards exam.For details:

    Hi Aspirant,
    Top 20 percentile means you have to stay in the top 20% of the students giving the exam.
    This means,that out of all the students giving the exam,you should score more marks than 80% of them.
    It basically means the top 20% of the students.
