Hello friend, unlike Mechanical Engineering you pursue at other colleges, Sandwich Mechanical Engineering at PSG Tech moulds you into all aspects of an Engineer. You get to be in a industry far prior to your placements where you could learn how a industry works right from your first year of college. You get to interact the workers at shop floor where they manufacture lathe machines. You also get exposed to the PSG motors and Pumps manufacturing Unit which increases the strength of your technical expertise as a mechanical engineer.

Apart from that you have to do your mandatory Internship for a period of 2 months, where you will work in a industry or a company as a intern helping with their projects grasping the values of Team work, Commitment, Leadership developing your techno-commercial knowledge based on your interest.

Futhermore, the class timings of the course is structured as

>> Industrial training & Visit during the forenoon (8.30 am to 10.30 am / 10.30 am to 12.30 pm )

>> Theory classes in the afternoon ( 2.30 pm to 7.30 pm )

Once getting adapted to these timings gives you a confident that you could work in any timings of the day. The seniors of the department guide you as much as possible for the placements as well after the placements.
