Which is more important for IIT,75% in class 12 board or top 20 percentile in board if I study by AMU (aligarh muslim university) board?

Hii akhlaq,
Generally top 20 percentile of AMU board is more than 75%. So it will be better for you to consider 75%. However sometimes it can go lower than 75%. In that cases, you should consider top 20 percentile criteria.

If I got 72.8% in class 12 board this year and I wants to give improvement exam to got 75% but by top 20 percentile criteria of AMU board 80% of class 12 board is required. So whether I give improvement in one subject or all subjects?
