Hii

Actually IIST Trivandrum is the perfect college for aerospace engineering which ensures direct entry into ISRO(Only if you are excellent in subject) but IIST has very limited seats in this competitive world. IIT Bombay, kanpur and Karaghpur are also masterpieces for aerospace engineering but you get very limited research opportunities only if you excel in performance otherwise it will be not easy ..ISRO and other institutes doesn't entertain those who just pass time(no matter even if you are an IITian)

Those scientific institutes expect you to do something productive..Don't study those limited scope subjects in any I'll reputed institutes..

Hi aspirant,
Both IITs and NITs are extremely good institutes in terms of engineering. IITs are however better than NITs in terms of way of education and approach. In terms of aerospace engineering the best Institutes are IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur.
