why have mcc asked for 2 lakh rupees as token amount. can you please eplain the procedure

Hello,

For Deemed Universities fee to be paid at the time of registration is-

Non refundable registration fee of Rs. 5000 and refundable security amount Rs. 2,00,000

If a candidate is allotted a seat in the second round and mop up round and he/she does not join the respective institution during the second round/mop up round of counselling then the security fee will be forfieted.

If i have not been alloted any seat for my choices in deemed universities , then will I get that 2 lakh back?
