Hi, Generally the process is if you are lucky enough to work with government bodies like DRDO, ISRO, BARC, Doordarshan and Army etc, a good GATE score will make you eligible for their sponsorship programs which runs for two years. The sponsorship comes with a caveat that you need to work for the organization for a few years after completing the M Tech, but that is but a minor matter when compared to the benefits you derive with your valid GATE scores.
Yes for Doordarshan but not much sure about All India Radio.
