JEST is a national level Examination the contacting authority is SERB Samsung engineering research board which conduct this JEST examination for admission in PHD for 5 years integrated PhD program in Science and Technology.the high qualifying marks in the entrance examination in able to get admission in PhD 5 years integrated PhD program in in IISC, IISER,NISER. Through this entrance test candidate can get opportunity to do MS in astrophysics also.

The gest examination is of hundred marks and the candidates who get at least  qualifying marks in this interested can join dimension institution for science and engineering courses and  astro physics course also.
