Candidates who are desirous to join B.Tech. Programmes in IIST must appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) conducted by NTA to qualify themselves to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) conducted by IITs and secure the minimum prescribed category-wise marks in JEE (Advanced)

the admission to b.tech and integrated course program will be on the basis of jee advanced rank, conducts by iits, after jee advanced results declared you need to apply in iist website, based on jee advanced and other academic score candidates will be shortlisted for admission.

Hello student to get admission into Indian Institute of science and technology you need to secure a rank below 3,000. As we all know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on merit rank.

You need to appear in jee main to get admission into IIST, Application form for jee main April exam start from 07th of February and shall remain open till 07th of March 2020.

Students can apply with their GATE score. The other way is every year during April to May online applications are open and you have to apply for the same. You can get into IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) for their Undergraduate programmes. The admission is based on JEE Advanced scores. Which means you need to have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2. You can pick any of their 4 year Bachelor programmes like B.Tech in Physical Sciences, B.Tech in Avionics and B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, etc. Or you can also pick up their 5 year Integrated courses in Master of Science in Astronomy and AstroPhysics, Master of Technology in Earth System Science, Master of Science in Solid State Physics and Master of Science in Optical Engineering, etc. Opportunities are amazing for academically brilliant candidates. With a CGPA of 7.5 or higher, subject to the availability of vacancies, you get placed in ISRO. Aero and Avio graduates have better prospects even outside ISRO.
Admission to Indian Institute of space science and Technology for B.Tech programmes is done on the basis of marks obtained in Jee advanced. To be eligible for IIST B.Tech admission, one need to qualify Jee Main as well as Jee Advanced. IIST offers admission on the basis of scores of national level exams for like JEE Advance , GATE, JEST, UGC NET etc. No entrance test is organized by the institution for admission into the courses.
