Nit Calicut has excellent infrastructure with spacious classrooms and labs that are well equipped with all the new-age tech screens and projectors for a more interactive learning experience with students.

I am pursuing chemical engineering at NIT Calicut, and all my faculty members are highly skilled, qualified, experienced, and supportive. The curriculum is relevant and regularly updated to include all the new developments

Nit Calicut has an excellent placement record with many national and international MNCs and big companies providing the students with great offers. The college also helps in resume and CV building for students.

My course costs approximately ₹2.5 lakh per annum, which includes tuition, mess and hostel fees. Considering the level of education, faculty, support and the facilities provided i think it is actually worth it.

Campus life at NIT Calicut is vibrant and enjoyable. The campus is beautiful, safe and filled with scenery and greenery. It has numerous sports and club facilities for the students to participate in and enjoy.

I would definitely recommend this college to all the upcoming JEE aspirants.

Infrastructure is good. Library and computer centre is amezing things in our college. Specially for first year infrastructure in excellent because first year student's classroom and hostal room very very good and wifi is also very good. But second year and onwards class room is old and small hostel room two bed sharing that's very disgusting. Sports facilities is also very good we have one big football ground, 4 volleyball Cort, 3 basketball cort, hockey, cricket, running, etc ground is also available.

Academic is quite good , from the first sem core subject is started. Syllabus is also very good. But academic is very strict. No pressure about you cgpa you can easily get 8.5 cgpa that is very good cgpa for psu .

Placement is good but you should maintain you cgpa and but for CSE placement is very good because academic is very strict and their syllabus align with company's requirements. Overall placement is very good if you are lower branch the you have to face difficult i ln placement but if you maintain you CGPA ( this is easy) you can easily creak you job in your branch.

College fees is similar to another NITs but hostal fees is very High about 1125 per month. But if you are positioned about you study and sports then is money is nothing.

I think campus Life is very good because we don't have to face 40°c. And man activities is going on our college. Specially Ragam and Tathwa is very big fest. No ragging, and staff are very supportive and overall campus is very good.

When you visit the college u will get to know that the college has everything in terms of infrastructure as there is a main building, many hostels separately for 1st years BTech student, library etc

I am pursuing BTech in Civil engineering as this was my choice to join civil engineering and I chose it. In NIT Calicut professors are supportive and strict also . There is the following 2023 updated curriculum.

In NIT Calicut there is a separate body which deals with placement like things.i.e. carrier guidance cell which help in placement preparation. Overall placement offers are 85 to 90 % and having highest package of 75lpa

For a BTech student there are three criteria of u have a annual income of less than 1 laks then there will be no fees charged and for student having 1 to 3 lakh per annum there will be one third to pay for more than 5 lakh u have to pay 125000 per year

The college campus is neat and clean. You can chill with friends can track with friends as there are mountains and a vast campus of about 300 acre.

College have everything in terms of infrastructure like it has central library having about 1 lacs book and also digital library. There is mega hostels new and old both not for 1st year student. First year BTech student will be allotted hostel A B C for boys .

In terms of academics NIT Calicut has best professors some of them are strict but everyone are supportive. There is courses like BTech ,Mtech, bsc ,phd etc. BTech has a new curriculum updated from 2023.

Placement quality is average for civil about 85% placement occured in 2025. Overall placement is about 85 to 90% . Highest package offered in civil is 35 lpa . It has a seperate unit which helps for preparation of placement like activities i.e NITC Carrier guidence cell.

Acedmics cost per year for a BTech student is 125000 for student having annual income more than 5 lakh per annum. For sc st students and students having annual income less than 1 lakhs , the fees will be Nil.

According to me NIT Calicut campus life is one of the best life for anyone enjoying. As there is mountains in kerala where you can track with your friend , enjoy nightout with friends in campus as it is 300 acre.

I will say finally as if you have opportunity to get in NIT Calicut then definitely enjoy it.

the infrastructure is beautiful. the facilities and equipment are all top notch. the staff takes good care of the surroundings and the libraries are well maintained with alot of good and relevant books. the hostels are very nice aswell.

The academic part of the college is top quality and this is a well-knows college. im studying mechanical engineering and the curriculum is updated and include all the recent and relevant developments in this field. what i study definitely makes me job-ready.

this college is very well know and holds a great reputation. thus, the placements are also good and almost 90% of the students get placed as soon as they graduate through the college placements. the placement process was easy and pleasant for me and my peers.

the course cost around 2L per year and was worth it in my opinion. i feel like i am getting my moneys worth. the faculty are well trained and the staff is very friendly. the price for the course is good.

the campus life is also great. the campus has a huge ground for sports like football, cricket. theres a basketball court aswell. the studies and extra curriculars are well balanced in my college. the teachers are very supportive and the support staff is very kind. the location is amazing and the college is located in a very safe location.

overall my experience in this college has been great and i have met wonderful people.

We are having good lab facilities,xerox shops, but in hostel canteen facilities are not there. There are canteens in campus,but inside hostel,canteen facility is nill.stationary, xerox facility is there , also study rooms, common room facility is good. But wifi may trouble sometimes ????

Quality is good enough. All the faculty are well knowledged. They have good knowledge to guide us with different projects. But students have to give their efforts by making use of resources given by faculty. They have to make use of reference books and practice questions to shine in exams.

Placements are also not bad. If the student is hardworking and have good technical knowledge, a high chances of getting placed in good company with high ctc. Placement cell does it's sincere duty to make sure everyone gets decent placement. On top of it, students have to improve their technical knowledge and skillset for good placement.

Good enough value for money. The prices of stationary items, food and other essentials are reasonable.

Good enough. But have to select company carefully. Nice green campus, but too many crows ????. Overall atmosphere is clean and friendly.
