see you need to appear in jee main and jee advance exam in order to get admission in iist. iist admission is basis on jee advance score , also the qualifying marks criteria is you need to secure 75% aggregate marks in 10+2 if your are from general category, for sc/st candidates marks criteria is 65%. now you need to secure the cutoff marks in jee main in order to qualify for jee advance exam. jee advance is one of the toughest entrance exam of india, you need to study sincerely now and should practice mcq questions. you may follow tata macgraw books for jee main and advance preparation.

JEST exam is conducted to shortlist aspirants for admission in PhD or Integrated PhD programmes in subjects like Physics, Theoretical Computer Science, Neuroscience or Computational Biology.

In IIST admission is provided on the basis of scores of national level exams – JEE Main, JEE Advance, GATE, JEST, UGC NET etc.

UGC NET is a National Eligibility Test, which is conducted nation wide to provide admission in most universities and colleges. IIST does not have any seperate entrance test and it accepts the results and gives admission to the students based on the scores of JEE Advanced, GATE and UGC NET.

Hello student Gate is for admission into PG courses that's M.Tech if you want to take admission into undergraduate course then you need to appear in jee main and advance as admission is only through Jee. I request you to please help me with your preferable course so that I can provide you exact information.

JEE eligibility - candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board.

NET (National Eligibility Test) also known as UGC- NET is the test for determining the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship award in Indian universities and colleges.

IIST offers admission on the basis of scores of national level exams for like JEE Main, JEE Advance, GATE, JEST, UGC NET etc. No entrance test will be organized by the institution for admission into the courses.

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology will release the official information brochure on 1st May 2020. Some essential requirements for getting into IIST are enlisted below :-

• You should be an Indian citizen.
• You should pass 10+2 with minimum 75% score from any recognized board/university.
• You should score at least 20% aggregate marks and 5% individual marks in each subject in JEE-Advance examination.

The Gate exam( Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering ) is a national level entrance examination which is conducted with the purpose to examine the concept of undergraduate engineering students. By the help of Gate exam , aspirant can take admission in various IITs and NITs for M.Tech courses.
Yes , IIST accepts admission on the basis of GATE score card . No separate entrance examination is introduced by the institution for admission into the courses

Hope you are doing well!! Indian Institute of Science Space and Technology release it's information brochure on May 1st. The registration process will start for all branches of IIST from 25th May and continues till 12th June.

No any particular entrance test will be conducted for admission to any of the IISTs. Admissions are taken on the basis of JEE-Advance score.

Hello student yes you're eligible to get admission into IIST as eligibility criteria says - Candidates should have obtained BE /B.TECH /Masters of science or equivalent degree with atleast 60 percent marks orCGPA of 6 out of 10for Genral and OBC Candidate's in case of sc/ST there's 5% relaxation in percentage. Candidates should have a valid score in Gate examination as admission is through GATE Entrance examination only.
