The candidates can access the IIT Roorkee login portal by visiting the official website acad.iitr.ac.in/. The candidates should give a valid username, password, and captcha. IIT Roorkee B.Des admission is offered for duration of four years in full-time mode. The B.Des programme is divided into eight semesters with the objective to provide creative thinking, design methodology, computing, engineering analysis and design.

IIT Roorkee Admission Process 2025-2026 for M.Tech/ M.Arch 

• To get admission into the IIT Roorkee, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria that are required.

• The candidates must apply and qualify for the GATE entrance examination. 

• Candidates applying for M.Tech courses should meet the GATE cutoff and appear for the counselling process. 

• Regular B.Tech. degree holders from the IITs with CGPA > 8 and sponsored students with relevant experience and written test/interviews are exempted from the GATE examination.

• Candidates applying for IIT Roorkee MBA admissions 2026 should meet the eligibility criteria of the MBA programme. 

• The eligible candidates are required to appear for the CAT entrance exam and meet the IIT Roorkee MBA cutoff 2025.
