The infrastructure of my campus is very nice and provides the best environment for studying. Also my campus has all the necessary facilities like wifi , air conditioners etc which are fully functional and also the campus is hygienic.
IIT Madras is one of those places you hear about and imagine high-tech labs, brilliant minds, and a campus buzzing with activity. The library is huge and has pretty much every book or journal you could need. Hostels are decent, though some are better maintained than others, and the campus facilities like canteens, sports grounds, and Wi-Fi are reliable and student-friendly.
The infrastructure of my college is well-developed and student-friendly. The campus is clean, green, and spacious, providing a pleasant environment for learning. Classrooms are modern, equipped with smart boards and projectors that support interactive teaching.

Admission to IIT Madras, like all Indian Institutes of Technology, is highly competitive and governed by strict eligibility criteria. To qualify, candidates must clear JEE Advanced and also meet specific academic standards. The official requirements state that applicants must either achieve a minimum of 75% marks in their Class 12 examinations (65% for SC, ST, or PwD categories), or rank within the top 20 percentile of their respective board for the relevant category.
With a score of 49%, you would not meet the general marks criterion. Your eligibility now depends on whether this score places you within the top 20 percentile of your board for your category. It is advisable to check your board’s percentile cutoffs for your specific year and category to confirm this.
If you are not eligible this year, you might consider preparing to retake JEE Main and Advanced in the next cycle, provided you meet age and attempt limits. Alternatively, you could explore admission to other reputable institutions such as IIITs, NITs (if your JEE Main score is competitive), state engineering colleges, or private universities with more flexible entry requirements.
Should you wish, I can assist in identifying colleges that align with your current academic profile and category. Please let me know if you would like more tailored guidance.
