I would like to inform you that if a candidate wants to do Diploma in Computer application then, he/she must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognised school or board. So it is disheartening to say that she is not eligible for DCA right now. But it's never too late to start anything. So ask her to complete her 12th board examination and then she will be eligible for DCA and then after for MCA. So motivate her to study and keep learning keep growing.

Indira Gandhi National Open University is one of the largest open universities in the world with about 67 regional centres with over 227 academic programmes. It is a central university so it has its own added benefits. It offers a wide array of course and being a science aspirant, you would be probably interested in the following: B.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons.).

The application and admission process happens two times a year- the January cycle and the July cycle. This is for both the diplomas and degrees which you want to apply for. For the former, the admission starts in November and for the latter it starts in May.

B.Sc. comes under the umbrella of Bachelor's Degree Programmes.Eligible candidates can work through in both online and offline mode of admission.

The programme structure of B.Sc. comprises of three parts:-

1. Foundation Courses
2. Elective Courses
3. Application-Oriented Courses

All these three will give you 96 credits at the end of the course. IGNOU offers Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics and Physics as the Major degrees in BSc. Majors. In general B.Sc. you would have an open choice of electives as opposed to these major degrees. Application Oriented skills will include courses which require application of a particular skill. For instance, Feature writing, in both Hindi and English is an application-oriented course.

Students who are studying in first year of any recognized University and the exams there are University exam will use code 5.
Since you are right now studying in first year of ignou hence your code will be 5 in neet form.

Code 07 says: Any other examination which in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio-technology; which shall include practical test in these subjects) is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University / Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology including practical tests in each of these subjects and English

For doing a degree in Phycology, whether it is BA Phycology or B.SC Phycology you need to get,

• Minimum 50 % marks in 10+2
• Age is not a problem in doing the degree

• Indira Gandhi National Open University i.e IGNOU has started IGNOU 2020 application process for January session for all the UG and PG courses as well in online mode at ignou.ac.in.

• So if you want to apply for your graduation in arts then order to register, you need to visit ignou.ac.in, which is the official website of IGNOU and register online.

• Application process started on  November 15, 2019.  And youu can apply till 31st December 2020 as it is the last date . So make sure that you fill the application form before the last date.

see neet ug exam has no age limit for applying. but only students who have done their 10+2 course in science stream are eligible to apply. candidate should have physics, chemistry,  biology/biotechnology as a core subject in 10+2 course, and also have english as a subject in intermediate study.

as you are from arts back ground you can not apply in neet ug.

Indira Gandhi National Open University Open Management Aptitude Test is a National level Entrance Test to pursue PGDM and Other Management courses. The Basic eligibility criteria is the candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with Minimum 50% of Marks. Final year graduation Students are not allowed to take the Test.

If you want to do journalism and mass communication than IGNOU is definitely a good choice. You can opt for post graduate diploma in journalism and mass communication (PGJMC). For which the eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have completed graduation from any stream/discipline. Also, few months of experience may be required in the same field. The course is 1 years or 4 years and there is no age limit for enrollment.

You will be provided with self-instructional written material, audio-visual material aids, Counselling Sessions, Teleconferences, Practical/ Project Work since it is a correspondence course.
