Yes, with a 2600 rank in SRMJEEE Phase 2, you have a very strong chance of getting CSE Core at SRM Ramapuram. Previous years' cutoffs for CSE at Ramapuram have gone up to 65,000+, so your rank is well within the safe zone. Just make sure to fill it as a top choice during counselling and complete the admission process on time.

Choice depends on your career goals and interest.

BITS BPharm is a top institute but the course is in pharmacy, not related to computer science or engineering. Choose it only if you are interested in pharmaceutical or research fields.

SRM AP CSE offers good curriculum and infrastructure. It is suitable for students aiming for a tech career and has better scope in computer science.

VIT Bhopal CAE is a specialized course in computer applications and engineering. It is good for students interested in AI, data science, or related fields, but the campus is relatively new.

If you are focused on a career in computer science, SRM AP CSE is a better option among the three. Avoid BITS BPharm if your goal is to work in the tech industry.

Hello Aspirant,

If you are planning on pursuing an Electronics program with VLSI specialization, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) and SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur (Main Campus) are two decent private colleges, but there is a considerable difference:

SRM Kattankulathur (Main Campus):

  • Has a better brand value and stronger alumni network, especially in South of India
  • Core companies such as Intel, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, L&T, and Tata Elxsi reportedly show up every now and then, but bulk of placements happen in IT.
  • SRM has a VLSI lab with M.Tech in VLSI, hence you will get a little more exposure here.

Manipal University Jaipur:

  • Known for good infrastructure and raising reputation.
  • Core electronics placements are limited, once again most offers are from IT services and consulting companies.
  • Moderate exposure to VLSI, and core electronics roles are not that frequent.

If your primary objective is core VLSI with placement in semiconductor companies, neither college is likely to provide really solid core VLSI placements similar to what top IITs, NITs or IIIT-H might offer. However, SRM Main Campus has relatively Stronger industry tie-ups, Better electronics lab facilities and Stronger placement record

Hello,

If you are interested in BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) at SRM University, it's essential to understand that SRM does not provide this program—their emphasis is on engineering, sciences, law, pharmacy, and agriculture—not veterinary medicine.

Hope this helps. All the best!
