hi,
Yes, with a rank of 27,000 in AP EAPCET aiming for SRM AP, the chances of getting into CSE (Computer Science Engineering) are quite slim—this branch usually needs a rank under 5,000 to secure admission. Your best bet would be to look at ECE (Electronics & Communication Engineering). While even ECE at SRM AP often closes within the 5,000–15,000 rank range, there’s a small chance seats open up in later rounds or under reserved quotas that could extend beyond that mark.
So, while CSE at SRM AP is out of reach with a 27k rank, applying for ECE and keeping an eye on subsequent allotment rounds could potentially land you a spot.
Hello there,
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) does not provide caste-based fee concessions for its general campuses. However, SRM University Delhi-NCR, Sonepat (Haryana) offers specific reservations in admissions as per the Haryana State Private Universities Act, 2006. This includes a reservation of 25% of seats for students from Haryana, with 10% of these seats reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates from the state.
While SRMIST implements reservation policies for admissions, there is no publicly available information indicating that caste-based reservations directly impact the fee structure. The fee structure remains consistent across categories, and any fee concessions are typically based on merit or other criteria rather than caste.
For detailed and specific information regarding fee structures and any applicable concessions, it is advisable to consult the official SRMIST resources or contact the admissions office directly.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
Hi aspirant,
All the best!
