Eligibility Criteria 

BSc (Nursing)

4 years

• Candidates must have attained a minimum age of 17 years on or before December 31 in the year of admission. 

• Candidates must have completed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects and have achieved at least 45% marks in aggregate. 

• Candidates must be medically fit. 

• 5% relaxation in marks is granted for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. 

BSc Post Basic (Nursing)

2 years 

• Candidates should be a registered Nurse and registered Midwife or hold an equivalent qualification recognized by the Chhattisgarh Nursing Registration Council. 

• The minimum educational requirement necessitates the successful completion of GNM with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.  

• Candidates must be medically fit. 

• 5% relaxation in marks is granted for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. 

MSc (Nursing)

2 years 

• Candidates should be a registered Nurse and registered Midwife or hold an equivalent qualification recognized by the Chhattisgarh Nursing Registration Council. 

• Candidates must have passed BSc Nursing/ BSc Nursing (Hons.)/ BSc Nursing Post Basic, with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks. 

• A minimum one year of professional experience subsequent to Basic BSc Nursing is mandatory. 

• Also, a minimum of one year of professional experience prior or after Post Basic BSc Nursing is required. 

• Candidates must be medically fit. 

• 5% relaxation in marks is granted for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. 

General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

3 years 

• Candidates must have completed class 12 with English and have scored at least 40% marks. 

• Candidates who have completed their education through the State Open School recognized by the State Government and NIOS are also eligible. 

• Candidates who hold a registered ANM qualification with passing marks are also eligible.
