MMC Chennai Placements

Every year, MMC Chennai conducts placement drives for the students. The placement cell manages the placement drives for the college. Apart from providing individual guidance. Madras Medical College, placement cell organises workshops to improve the interview performance of the students.

MMC Chennai Students are provided with mock interviews, tests, and various other skills that can help them during their interviews. According to MMC Chennai 2020-2021, Placement drive 250 students graduated out of which 161 students got placed with a median salary of Rs 7.44 lakhs whereas 89 students opted for higher studies.

As we look at the previous years cut-off it is seen that the opening and closing rank for madras medical college was 255 and 755 respectively for last year for general category. 783-979 for obc and 6533-12242 for the reserved category.

As the competition is increasing every year it is expected that this year also the cut off will hike up. So in order to lock a seat in this governement college you need scare a safe number which may be around 650-670 and above.

Yes, BPT course is available in Madras Medical College. Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T) is a full-time 4.5-year course offered by Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute University, Chennai. There is no entrance exam candidates have to fill out the application form from the official website. Candidates who have passed 10+2 standard of education from any approved board or university with not less then 40% marks in PCB are eligible for this course.
