    Admissions to the postgraduate course of MS is done on the basis of NEET PG examination. Every year around 1.5 lakh candidates register for NEET PG out of which in the year 2019, a total of 79,633 candidates qualified the same and a significant number of them opted for MS. NEET PG is conducted nationwide by the National Board of Education (NBE) and is the common exam for admission to both MS and MD courses.     For admission in universities of outside india, you need to start your application process a year or minimum a six months prior to your intake. For example if you are planning to go in Fall of 2023 then you need to start working on your application from October or November 2022. Application process takes really long in universities of USA/Canada or any other countries

    If you are planning to appear for IELTS in October slot then you can plan your intake after the spring of 2023 which means you can go for MS and start your program after May 2023 since documents verification, visa process will take a considerate amount of time.
